B2B Lead Extractor (“the Extension”) helps users find business contact
information for a company they are researching. When you click the Extension on a
company’s website, it reads the website’s domain and returns a list of likely
decision-maker contacts (name, title, and business email) for that company. This policy
explains what data the Extension handles and why.
What the Extension accesses
The Extension uses Chrome’s activeTab permission to read the domain
(for example acme.com) of the page you are viewing — and only at the
moment you open its popup. It does not run in the background, does
not read page content, and does not track your browsing
across tabs or websites.
Information we process and store
Company domain. The domain you look up is sent to our backend to
retrieve contacts. We do not record the rest of the page URL or its content.
Returned contact data. Results include third parties’ business
contact details (name, title, business email) sourced from our data provider.
Install identifier. A random identifier is generated on your device
and stored locally (Chrome local storage) solely to track your credit balance. It is not
linked to your real identity.
We do not collect passwords, full payment card details, or browsing
history.
How information is used
To return the contacts you explicitly request for a domain.
To track and deduct your usage credits.
To process credit purchases (see Third-party services).
We do not sell your data and do not use it for
advertising or any purpose unrelated to the single purpose of the Extension.
Third-party services
Hunter.io — the domain you submit is sent to Hunter’s
Domain Search API to retrieve business contacts. See
Hunter’s privacy policy.
Stripe — credit purchases are processed by Stripe. We do not
store your full payment card details; these are handled directly by Stripe under
Stripe’s privacy policy.
Fly.io — our backend is hosted on Fly.io, which processes the
requests described above.
Data retention
We process submitted domains and returned contacts in real time to fulfill your request
and do not retain them afterward. Your credit balance is associated with your local install
identifier for the purpose of providing the service.
Your choices
You can stop all data collection at any time by removing the Extension from Chrome,
which also clears its locally stored identifier.
To request deletion of data associated with your install identifier, contact us using
the details below.
Compliance
You are responsible for using returned contact information in accordance with applicable
laws (including GDPR and CCPA where relevant) and the terms of our data provider.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by
updating the effective date above.
